Founding Principal and Art Director, Andrei was born in Moldova, where attended the Technical University of Moldova, gaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture and Construction.

​

Throughout his education, Andrei was interested in all aspects of the architectural environment, resulting in a professional foundation that includes: public, commercial, residential, landscaping, interior, and exterior design. Andrei’s approach to design and architecture includes a contemporary-based massing method. It's an easily understood conceptual underpinning, practical with an unexpected element of flair.

Prior to establishing TORU, Andrei worked as a Technical and 3D Designer at Cesar New York, where he gained knowledge and understanding of high-end custom building methods of the kitchen, bath, and closet industries. He started his USA career in NYC in 2015, where he began focusing on residential and commercial projects.
